Taillight assembly is laser welded using Leister‘s Globo technology. In Globo welding an ordinary clamp is replaced with special head equipped with a glass ball floating on an air bearing that applies pressure between parts being welded. This process allows welding 3D patterns or 2D patterns that are difficult or impossible to clamp.
